One genre that seems to always be pushed aside is Geezer Rock. Since tribute bands specialize in one group and they get their own "genre," it should be noted that Geezer Rock groups do not specialize in one group's music but rather in many various groups that made up the history of rock music in America. There are a lot of folks who enjoy Geezer rock or "Oldies" music but you can rarely find it in it's own "genre" group.
It would just be nice, y'know? :-)
