Though best known for Oldies and Beach Music, they are truly one of South Carolina's premier "Party Bands" performing a wide variety of genres to satisfy the widest possible audience. The Fabulous Shades are best known regionally for their Beach Music hit, "I Wanna Be At The Beach". Two of the original members, Richard Campbell and Terry Robinson, still take to the stage as the Co-Founders of the group. Along with Richard and Terry, Mike "Mick-Mac" McMurry and Lance E. Davis round out the core of the group. The foursome appear more frequently than the full compliment of musicians used for larger concerts or larger stages. The Fabulous Shades is truly one of the more established bands in the region drawing fans from a multitude of genre preferences and age groups.
